What is Knokr?

Knokr is a comprehensive festival management platform that helps organizations create, manage, and promote music festivals and events. From lineup management to ticketing, we provide all the tools you need to run successful events.

How do I create my first organization?

After signing up, navigate to the Organizations page and click "Create Organization". You'll need to provide a name and URL slug for your organization. Once created, you can start adding team members and creating festivals.

What's the difference between organizations and festivals?

Organizations are the top-level entities that manage multiple festivals. Think of organizations as your company or collective, while festivals are the individual events you produce. One organization can manage multiple festivals.

Organizations & Teams

How do I invite team members to my organization?

Go to your organization's Members page and click "Add Member". Enter their username to send an invitation. They'll need to accept the invitation to join your organization.

What are the different member roles?

Organizations have three roles: Owner (full access), Admin (can manage members and content), and Member (can view and contribute to festivals). Only owners can delete the organization.

Can I transfer ownership of my organization?

Currently, organization ownership cannot be transferred. If you need to change ownership, please contact our support team for assistance.

Festivals & Events

How do I create a festival?

From your organization dashboard, click "Create Festival". You'll need to provide basic information like name, dates, and location. Once created, you can add lineups, schedules, sponsors, and media.

Can I manage multiple festivals simultaneously?

Yes! Organizations can manage unlimited festivals. Each festival has its own dedicated workspace with lineup management, scheduling, media library, and sponsor management.

How do I add artists to my festival lineup?

Navigate to your festival's Lineup page and use the artist search to find and add performers. You can organize them by day, stage, and performance time.

Media & Content

What types of media can I upload?

You can upload images, videos, and documents to your organization's media library. Supported formats include JPG, PNG, MP4, PDF, and more. All media is accessible across your organization's festivals.

Is there a storage limit for media?

Storage limits depend on your plan. Free accounts have basic storage, while paid plans offer expanded storage and advanced features. Check your organization settings for current usage.

Sponsors & Partners

How do I manage sponsors?

Create sponsor profiles in your organization's Sponsors section. Once created, you can assign sponsors to specific festivals and manage their visibility and placement.

Can sponsors be shared across multiple festivals?

Yes! Sponsors are managed at the organization level, so you can easily assign the same sponsor to multiple festivals without recreating their profile.
